The Uni-Tech linear machines forfilling of dense products have proven their reliability through the years gaining share in a wide range of low and moderate capacities – from 1200 to 6000 containers per hour. They provide considerable flexibility towards containers and products with facile readjustment for various bottle and jar shapes (plastic, glass, metal) with no need of expensive tools and format parts. The volumetric filling bolstered by the precise electronic measurement of flow meters or the fine movement of pistons in dosing cylinders is applicable to a wide range of tomato and oil based products such as ketchup, tomato paste, dressing sauces, mayonnaise, etc., with various viscosity and brix values.

The dosing mechanism of the linear piston machines can be both mechanically and pneumatically driven. The solid mechanical version is particularly reliable as it is practically irrelevant to the varying viscosity of the filled products.

In order to prevent the formation of air gaps or pockets in the product during the filling process, the filling nozzles of the machine sink down into the container and start moving up in parallel with the product level. The synchronization of the speeds of the sinking nozzles motion and the filling speed is performed by a mechanical cam or a servo motor.

The product itself can be fed to the machine by either a special pump or by overpressure in the buffer tank of the machine, guaranteeing the accurate dosing and quick filling.

The Uni-Tech rotary filling machines for dense products are designed to handle a wide range of containers and products. They operate on the principle of volumetric or weight dosing. High vacuum level fillers are available especially for mayonnaise. The Uni-Tech range of fillers with volumetric dosing covers filling speeds of up to 24 000 cph (containers per hour) and container volumes of 150 to 5000 ml. The volumetric piston fillers are equipped with a mechanical cam and motorized machine adjustment to the containers height and the filled volume.

As an optional feature the pistons can be automatically extricated from the cylinders to further improve automatic CIP and SIP washing results. This comes in addition to the special spray and jet nozzles, collection tray for the washing fluid, and recirculation pump.

Washing and sterilization is facilitated by the lock-zone free design of the entire product path. The Uni-Tech weight fillers range comprises solutions for outputs of 4,000 to 24,000 containers per hour. When integrated in a multibloc system these can develop to an ULTRA CLEAN environment filling system, providing the sterilization of containers and caps and conditioned filling and capping zone.

Nett weight technology for dosing and filling utilizing load cells of the highest class and a patented by Uni-Tech filling valve providing high flow velocity without foam generation. Guaranteed accuracy for weight range of 0,1 kg to 6,0 kg – deviation of 0,3 to 1,0 grams depending on the homogeneity of the products. Possibility to select dosing by Nett weight or by volume.

Weight filling synchrobloc in ULTRA CLEAN edition with isolated filling and capping clean chamber, overpressure sterile air supply, bottle sterilization section utilizing ozonized water or hydrogen peroxide. Sterile air creation device using HEPA filters. The total control over the dosed weight and the caps closing is secured by a rejection device that diverts non-confirming product to a parallel conveyor. A completely automatic CIP and SIP washing system utilizing rotary spray balls, jet nozzles and return pumps guarantees immaculate hygiene and sterilization of the entire product path and the active chamber of the machine.

Lead off and recirculation of the washing solutions is guaranteed. Assured lead-off of the cleaning solutions back to the CIP system.
