Small autoclave for use in the laboratory for the study of sterilization processes, or as a production autoclave for the sterilization of special products such as truffles or spices. The Autolab can be equipped with all the accessories normally found in larger autoclaves.

Sterilization retort for canned food products. Can process in direct steam or hot-water spray, to give most flexibility for plants with varied production. Steam processing is more efficient and requires less come-up time than hot-water processing, and is recommended for delicate containers. Hot-water spray is best for products that are heat-sensitive and can also pasteurize at temperatures below 100°C.

Sterilization retort for canned food products, designed for minimal capital outlay. The retort processes tin cans in saturated steam (no air overpressure during holding). Flood cooling with bottom-inflow/top-outflow (with air overpressure) guarantees good cooling without needing a circulation pump. The retort has the basic kit of control valves plus a bleeder vent to guarantee maximum temperature uniformity, in accordance with US FDA retort regulations.

The retort sterilizes by bathing the product with hot-water spray, through top and side spray nozzles. The water is heated by a heat exchanger, fed by steam in a closed circuit.

During cooling, water is constantly circulated through the retort in the same way as during water processing. Cooling water flows in countercurrent through a heat-exchanger to indirectly cool the process water inside the retort.

Heat-exchanger cooling is recommended if the main criteria is water efficiency, provided that the retors is connected to a closed-circuit cooling plant. Also, the mass of cooling water never directly touches the product, allowing for more cos-effective treatment of the process water.
