L.P.S. Special-Shaped Pasta Line: the concept of production flexibility exalted to the highest level. The combination between T.V.S. press (Total Vacuum System) and the pasta movement on trays allows the production of any kind of special pasta shapes such as round nest, oval nest, lasagna, matasse, big size Short-Cut Pasta shapes, cannelloni, “farfalle” and so on, without any risk of breaking or damaging the pasta product.

Press

The most important features of this equipment are the TURBOMIX technology and the low-speed of extrusion, which is achieved thanks to the high-efficiency compression screws: these characteristics allow to obtain a very homogenous dough. The press can be fitted either with Total Vacuum System or with traditional technology.

Nest/lasagna forming machine

Through the forming machine, the laminated pasta sheets or otherwise the extruded pasta take the desired shape (nest, matasse, lasagna, etc.) for the subsequent spreading on trays.

Pre-dryer and dryer 

  • Thanks to a powerful ventilation, the surface of the Special Shaped Pasta is heated to maintain the desired shape, prevent sticking and to prepare the product for the subsequent vertical predrying phase.
  • This phase of approximately 50 minutes, performs a quick heating of pasta and the preparation for the next drying phase.
  • Thanks to a rising/descending trays movement inside the main dryer and to a sophisticated thermohygroregulation system, different for each phase, it is possible to obtain a perfect drying and stabilization of any kind of Special Pasta Shape.

Cooler and emptying system

  • Provided with a heat exchanger entirely manufactured in stainless steel installed in a dedicated external unit, the cooler allows to cool Special Shaped Pasta and to prepare the pasta for the next packaging phase.
  • There are different models of emptying devices: it is possible to flip the tray to obtain a bulk packing or there is the possibility to have an unloading unit with pieces counting and tidy feeding of the packaging system.

Suitable for automatic distribution of dough. Made up of one trolley running upon tracks, suitable for receiving dough from a mixer and distributing it automatically to various stations (sheeters and/or extruders). Functioning electro-pneumatically, structure entirely in stainless steel with electric control panel IP65. 
Automation is controlled by PLC located inside the control panel, enabling pre-selection of discharges and possible priorities.

Automatic sheeter to continuously feed moulding machines of ravioli and cappelletti and automatic cutting machines

The machine has been designed and manufactured to continuously feed the ravioli and cappelletti and cutting machines. The rolling shafts and cylinders are set horizontally. The particular opening of the shutters allow an accurate cleaning process of the inside parts that can be carried out in maximum safety conditions for the operator. The laminating-shaft group is equipped with distanced mechanics. All parts in contact with the product are in stainless steel AISI 304.

The double-basin model operates autonomously, since it is equipped with mixing basin of various capacities dependig on the model.
Transfer of the dough from the upper to the lower basin occurs thanks to a pneumatic tilting device.

Also a single-basin model is available, ideal for coupling with a continuous mixer and to be part of continuous production lines.

Made in stainless steel it is particularly suitable to be used in production lines of fresh pasta coupled with automatic sheeters or extruders for lasagne or tagliatelle production.
It can also be used coupled with cookers for lasagne and pre-cooked cannelloni in cooking lines.
The refining rollers can be made in ground steel or in thickness-chromed iron, they feature variable diameter depending on models and width and are equipped with scrapers in teflon-coated brass, taking into consideration the large variety of models.

Stainless steel version available

Suitable for continuous productions; fully automatic running controlled by PLC with relevant keyboard enables moulding of nests of the desired dimensions, shapes and lengths, as well as lasagne, automatically spread onto the drying looms and obtained either from laminated sheet pasta or from a pasta die; width of sheet mms. 510 (upon demand up to mms. 540).

Upon demand the machine can be equipped with the following:

  • Laminating unit for adjustment of sheet-pasta thickness, made up of couple of chromed, ground rollers
  • Automatic loom-feeding device featuring output of 8 pcs. looms cms. 60x120 with automatic loom-forwarding
  • Loom support after moulding, equipped with pre-drying fans
  • Equipped with electronic speed variator suitable for direct coupling with sheeter or extruder.

Technical features of Nesting machine:

  • Special version with expanding cone for production of flat-, round-, oval-, waved-section nests (e.g. “reginette”) obtained from pasta die
  • Special version in stainless steel with direct discharge onto the pasteuriser net for production of fresh, nest-shaped “tagliatelle”.
