Most often, dosing is used for pH-adjustment of boiler water, cooling water, and district heating water as well as for protection against corrosion and precipitation. In connection with other water treatment, dosing pumps are typically used for admixture of disinfectants, flocculants, and scale inhibitors.

Membrane Degassing Units (MDUs) provide efficient, compact and maintenance-free technology for removing carbon dioxide and oxygen from water without any chemical treatment.

In many industries where high quality water is needed - such as make-up water for boilers, power plants, pharmaceuticals - membrane degassers are becoming standard technology for removing CO2 and O2 from water.

For example, carbon dioxide removal can reduce the effects of corrosion in boilers and pipes in order to save investment, extend equipment life and reduce operating costs. The removal of these gases can also increase the efficiency of the process, for example, for the operation of the EDI system.

Deaerators are used for reducing the content of oxygen, carbonic acid, and air in the water, for treatment of make-up water for steam boilers and district heating centrals, and for deaeration and deoxidization of circulating water. 

Advantages

Reduction of oxygen and CO2 minimize the risk of corrosion. All deaerators are produced in materials which ensure a long life, high operational reliability, and a minimum of maintenance of your plant.

Plant description

EUROWATER produces several types of deaerators:

  • Thermal deaerators Thermal deaerators ere used for pretreatment of feedwater for steam boilers. The oxygen content is reduced to very low values. Can be insulated with mineral wool and covered with aluminium plates. The plant is constructed according to the EU pressure tanks directive of 29 May 1997 (97/23/EF) (PED) and is delivered approved with CE marking.
  • Vacuum deaerators Are used for treatment of make-up water and circulating water in heating centrals. The oxygen content is reduced to less than 0.1 mg/l. Possibility of construction in electroplated and stainless steel. 
  • COdegassers Are used in connection with dealkalizers or UPCORE demineralization plants.
  • Membrane degassers Removal of CO2 and O2. Used in connection with RO units, mixed-bed units and EDI units. Read more about membrane degassing units

Food and Beverage


To complete the range of “turnkey” products, Uni-Tech has developed a business unit specialised in process technologies in the food & beverage sector.

In regards to “beverage”, in addition to traditional machines such as saturators, premix systems and pasteurisers, our production also includes a CSD syrup production room, juice preparation rooms, and rooms for the receiving and transformation of dairy products.

The height of automation is achieved through the control rooms, where the entire process is developed. Moreover, for the mineral water sector, Uni-Tech has developed important expertise in water treatment systems, using the most sophisticated technology, from ozone through to ultra-filtration.
In collaboration with specialised companies, Uni-Tech also offers the production of purées and juices starting directly with the fruit, vegetables and tomatoes.

Complete systems


There is often a very close synergy between the processing and packaging systems, where a connection is nonetheless required. For this reason, AMS Ferrari has developed machines to connect the processing and packaging systems of several products.

Single, double or triple-plane tanks are designed for raw material processing in the food industry. The insulation is made of mineral wool or poly-urethan foam. The insulation is covered with firmly welded sheet. The heating or cooling coat is able to work with pressures of no more than 3.5 bars to be made in quilted coat, serpent pipe or rectangular dithes technology depending on working conditions.

The tanks applications:

  • making liquid at various content and acidity fiat preventing from stored liquif splitting 
  • liquid with add-ons mixture 
  • liquid mixture to intesify processes 
  • sirup and other liquid preparation.

The tanks design and make enable their washing using CIP system. The CIP system enables washing the components to be the tank equipment such as mixers, mainholes et cetera. Selected variants can be additionally sterilized with steam.
