The shrink tank ST 40 processes all types of shrink bags and is suitable for a wide variety of foodstuffs – the ideal complement to vacuum chamber machines. The ST 40 can optionally be equipped with a fume extractor, side product trays or a practical roller table. This simplifies product handling and the machine can be integrated into a small shrink line.

The first manual shrink tank in the WEBOMATIC CleanDesign® processes all types of shrink bags and is suitable for a wide variety of foods – the ideal complement to vacuum chamber machines. With its inward running basin edges, easy cleaning and hygienic residual water flow of the ST 40 are ensured. The special design and an additional service door guarantee thorough external cleaning and quick and easy maintenance.

The lateral hose connection with the water inlet enables an effortless water supply, while a drainage system prevents overflow. The water temperature can be set precisely, quickly, and above all easily thanks to the digital display and control technology and then regulated automatically. The water level can be measured and controlled directly with the aid of the water level sensor and an optical marking inside the basin. The diving process is initiated by a new type of button, which also signals the readiness for use (green) or the need for control (red) by easily recognizable flashing.

Our dryers DU 60 and DU 80 dry shrink packs thoroughly and gently.

This means they are immediately ready for the next steps such as weighing, labelling and cartoning.  Of course, the dryers can be seamlessly connected to the matching STCW 60 or STCW 80 shrink tunnels and also run in efficient continuous operation. Like the shrink tunnels, the dryers in the WEBOMATIC CleanDesign are designed for direct water drainage. The unit is easy to operate and clean, the side channel compressor is easy to reach and the conveyor belt can be easily removed. The PLC controls the two movable dryer nozzles above the product contour at an optimum distance from the surface, thus protecting the product.

For use within a complete WEBOMATIC line, our shrink tunnels and dryers are therefore available in the pure line version without touch screen (STCW 60-L and STCW 80-L as well as DU 60-L and DU 80-L).
The touchscreen versions of the shrink tunnel and dryer (STCW 60-T and STCW 80-T as well as DU 60-T and DU 80-T) are independent of the upstream line. As a practical addition to the chamber machine with shrink tunnel and dryer, the CB 60 and CB 80 conveyor belts complete your line. The large WEBOMATIC Shrink Tunnel STCW 80 automatically creates shrink packaging without clocking, thus avoiding cost-intensive production breaks and creating uniform wrinkle-free packaging. The WEBOMATIC CleanDesign® of the shrink tunnel STCW 80 ensures direct water drainage and the avoidance of dirt nests due to bevelled surfaces.

The magnetic coupling drives the conveyor belt wear-free, two measuring systems ensure the necessary water level of the shrink tunnel.

Cleaning programs

The shrink tunnel automatically detects when it needs to be cleaned or descaled and reports this automatically via the touch screen. In the case of manual cleaning, the operator is guided through a cleaning program via the monitor.

In the shrink tunnel STCW 60, the shrink packs pass through the hot water cascades fully automatically, without cycle times and cost-intensive production breaks. The devices are centrally monitored and controlled by the powerful PLC control system from Mitsubishi. The WEBOMATIC CleanDesign® of the shrink tunnel with bevelled surfaces guarantees direct water drainage and the avoidance of dirt pockets. The magnetic coupling drives the conveyor belt wear-free, two measuring systems ensure the necessary water level in the shrink tunnel.

Efficiency in energy consumption is ensured, among other things, by the double-walled housing insulation and the gradual activation of the heating elements. The upper opening flap and front door make the units easy to operate and service.  If a central steam supply is available, the shrink tunnels with steam heating can be integrated at low cost.

Cleaning programs 
The shrink tunnel automatically detects when it needs to be cleaned or descaled and reports this automatically via the touch screen. In the case of manual cleaning, the operator is guided through a cleaning program via the monitor. He receives a message each time a tap is to be opened and closed and only has to acknowledge the message on the monitor after carrying out the operating step. With the optional automatic cleaning, the descaling / cleaning program runs fully automatically, only cleaning agents have to be refilled manually.
