BLASAU is a company specialized in making slaughterhouses products, cutting rooms and food industry in general.
It’s a family business that was founded in 1977. At the beginning we manufactured different metal products. With a great capacity to adapt to the costumers needs and always the desire to seek new markets, since 1995, BLASAU has specialized in manufacturing products for food industry.
Currently, our company designs, manufactures and installs:
Rails for small and medium slaughterhouses, cutting rooms and sausage factories
Used to close the animal pens in the slaughterhouse.
Structural columns that are bolted to the floor, spaced 2000 mm apart from each other.
Space between the fences to screw or bolt between the columns. Can be made of either metal sheets or bars. Made up of different units, allowing a unit to be easily replaced if necessary. The pens are very versatile, as spaces can be made larger or smaller by adding or removing different units.
The exact measurements and shape of the pen will depend on the type of animal being held.
For pigs, fences are made of metal sheets.
For sheep, metal sheets are used for smaller animals, while vertical bars are used for larger animals.
For calves, horizontal bars are used.
For fences used to create pens for several different animals (pigs, sheep and cows), vertical bars or metal sheets are used up to a certain height, then horizontal bars are used up to 1500 mm high.
The bars are made of galvanised steel or AISI-304 stainless steel.
Machine designed to coagulate the blood collected from the slaughter and separate the solid from the liquid. The percentage of residual moisture that is retained in the solid part is approximately 25-30%, which removes any smells and allows it to be transported more easily.
The product obtained is not suitable for human consumption, and is mainly used for fertiliser. It is cooked using steam which comes from an internal coil. .
Machine to store and refrigerate blood. It consists of an tank that is insulated with polyurethane foam, with adjustable feet, entry and exit points, and a vertical stirrer.
It includes a direct expansion evaporator with R-404A gas, a conventional refrigeration unit, an airtight compressor and an air condenser, and washes itself automatically. The storage tank can be controlled electronically, both in terms of cooling and cleaning.
Hydraulic machine to remove the skin from the animal.
Chassis made of:
1 vertical column made of two U-shaped rails, screwed to the floor with anchors and attached to the track with 2 straps.
1 central roller with chains, mounted on a moving cart.
1 reinforcing bar to attach to the aerial track, so that it can handle the weight.
Support placed in front of the skinner, screwed and anchored to the floor, to attach the dragging chains.
Chains made of stainless steel.
1900 mm piston to raise/lower the moving cart.
Motor to roll/unroll the roller chains,
Cabinet containing the electrical circuits, placed behind the machine.
Control buttons located on the work platforms.
Made of stainless steel or galvanised steel.
Tie the hind legs to the support chain,
Put the chain behind the post and attach it to one of the notches.
Attach the chains to the skin that has already been removed from the legs (either the front legs if the skin will be removed from top to bottom, or the back legs if the skin will be removed the other way round).
Roll up the chains and move the cart (downwards if the skin will be removed from top to bottom, or upwards legs if the skin will be removed the other way round).
When the skin has been removed from the animal, unroll the chains to release it.
